Overview: Join our dedicated team at Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center, where compassionate care meets exceptional nursing practice. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide top-quality care to our residents in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor and assess patient health to ensure optimal care.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychological evaluations.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Regularly monitor patient conditions and document changes, progress, and responses to treatments in electronic health records.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate by communicating effectively with patients and their families, addressing concerns, and ensuring informed decision-making.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate care and support in emergency situations, including implementing appropriate interventions and notifying necessary personnel.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: State of Iowa (LPN or RN) Valid and unrestricted license.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
